What are the benefits of LanguageCert International ESOL for students??

Flexibility of exams: you can prepare and then just sit for the written or oral exam and you will find it easier to get the full exam little by little; you can direct your learning activities to specific areas of skill (listening, reading, writing and speaking).

Separate certificates: if you are part of the written and spoken exam, but you only succeed in one, you will receive a certificate for the exam you passed. When you have passed both exams of the same level, you will receive two separate certificates - respectively for the written and the oral exam - for the level achieved.

Upon request: you can take the exams on dates agreed with your school (LanguageCert approved testing center) and at any time of the year *.

*Different conditions apply in specific regions, please check with your school.

Internationally recognized awarding body: you will improve your chances of academic development and have access to better employment opportunities.

Use of functional language in exams: you will be able to use English successfully both to make friends across borders and to work abroad.

CEFR Map: you will receive an objective feedback on your language knowledge measured by internationally accepted standards.

One-on-one speaking test: only you and a language certificate interlocutor will take your speaking exam, as there will be no other candidate. This way you can focus and perform as best you can.

Justice and impartiality - Written exam: after marking the works, our lead examiner checks the grading to make sure there are no discrepancies in the way the papers are marked.

Justice and impartiality - Oral exam: grading is not done by the interlocutor during the exam. Instead, your exam is recorded and the recorded interview is marked by a independent LanguageCert marker after the exam. This way the interlocutor can fully focus on the exam and help you achieve the best you can. Registration is useful if for any reason your performance of the Spoken Exam needs to be verified.

Reasonable duration of the exam: you do not have to spend a whole day taking the exam; Written and oral exams will only require approx 3 hours of your time.

Indefinite validity of the exam: the certificate has eternal validity.

Communication exam: you will need to be able to use English, focusing primarily on communication skills rather than vocabulary or grammar; this way you can take an international LanguageCert ESOL exam even if you are preparing for another exam.
