The “Written Exam” consists of Listening, Reading and Writing sections and is available in Paper-based format.
The “Spoken Exam” is a short conversation with an Interlocutor on topics of interest to children, such as their family, hobbies or daily life situations.

Spoken Exam (Speaking)

Speaking Task
Part 1 Answer simple questions in order to give personal
information (name, age, etc.)
Part 2 A picture card with two objects is presented by the
Interlocutor and candidates are asked to identify the
object and answer some follow up questions
Part 3 A scene card, on a particular topic, is presented by the
Interlocutor
• Students respond to simple questions about the picture
• Students are asked to answer 3 follow up questions
on the same topic
Total Marks: 16

Part 2 An objects’ card is presented by the Interlocutor and
candidates are asked to identify objects of the same category
Part 3 A “find the differences” card is presented by the Interlocutor
and candidates are asked to identify the different things they
see
Part 4 A “scene card” is presented by the Interlocutor and
candidates are asked to describe the picture
Total Marks: 16
